Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp. (28.3g) Gluvana® Self-Rising Gluten-Free All Purpose Flour
- 2 tbsp. (35.4g) butter
- 1 cup (240 ml) milk, warmed
- ½ tsp. (3.5g) salt
Directions:
Heat the milk until it’s hot. Melt butter on low heat in a small saucepan until fully melted. When melted, add Gluvana ® Self-Rising Gluten-Free All Purpose Flour and stir with a wooden spoon. Cook for 60 seconds. Using a whisk, gradually whisk in warmed milk until fully combined. Raise the heat temperature to medium and continue whisking gradually, allowing the mixture to just reach a boil. Remove from heat and stir in salt and other desired seasonings. This white sauce can easily be made into a cheese sauce by adding shredded cheese gradually until fully combined.
